Notes

Notes are your runbook. Each one is a title + markdown body + optional pinned session id + image attachments.

Create

Sidebar → Notes → +. The note opens in an inline editor. Title and body autosave 600ms after you stop typing.

Images

Click "+ image" in the editor and pick a file. Supported types: PNG, JPEG, GIF, WebP, SVG. Max 10 MB. Files are written to ~/.sudoterm/notes/<noteId>/<imageId>.<ext> with chmod 600 inside a chmod 700 directory. Deleting the note cascades to deleting the image files.

Pinning to a session

Set pinnedSessionId on a note to link it to a specific terminal tab. Phase 2 will surface pinned notes inline above the session.

• Share-a-snippet links
• Full-text search

The data model already supports these; only the UI is gated.
